In the Mobile Botanical Garden you will discover both the wild and the farmed areas. Milli McConnell Rhododendron Garden is home to more than 300 kinds of azaleas, which include Aboriginal and Satsuki hybrids. The Savada Winter Garden was newly declared the “Garden of Excellence” by the International Camellia Society.
All the flowers there have specific areas. The gardens’ workers are especially honored by the Longleaf Pine Forest, which grows every year with an ever larger amount of species coming back, even the tortoise gopher. In autumn, take a hike on the paths to discover the wonderful native wild plants.
