In 1908, with the generous donation of William W. Seymour, the Seymour Botanical Conservatory was opened.

    The US Fish and Wildlife Service uses greenhouses for plants seized at the US / Canada border crossing.

Permanent collection

  • More than 250 unique plants from all over the world have been collected.
  • More than 200 orchids bloom at any one time
  • 300 to 500 flowers bloom each season.
