Presby Memorial Iris Garden sits at the foot of 7.5 acres in Mountainside Park. This season has more than 14,000 varieties, 3,000 varieties and more than 100,000 types of flowers. The annual spring flowering season usually runs from mid-May to the first week of June. Some flower beds bloom in October.
The recently added PresBee Sanctuary currently has 10 active hives and more than 100,000 Italian bees.
But Presby is not only a beautiful garden, but also a living museum for plant protection, with varieties dating back to the 1500s.
