Myriad Botanical Gardens & Crystal Bridge Tropical Conservatory are a lush paradise in the city and a top destination in downtown Oklahoma City. This award-winning 15-acre area offers an impressive community-oriented outdoor space that can be used as a base for events.
You can take a walk in the garden, see calm streams and soothing waterfalls, sit on a bench, listen to the sounds of the city or admire the unique greenery and flowers scattered around the landscape. Four-legged friends are also welcome in the dog parks of countless botanical gardens, where dogs can walk among the reeds.
The Crystal Bridge Tropical Conservatory is a 224-foot-long, round glass building that displays more than 1,000 types of plants from around the world. The greenhouse has a quiet sidewalk and is divided into two areas: tropical rain forest zone and tropical dry zone. You can walk in the trees on the walkway, or look down into the greenery, it looks like a bird’s eye view. You’ll see palm trees, begonias, bromeliads and more than 1,500 endangered orchids. Long-winged yellow and black zebra butterflies and free-moving amphibians live in the greenhouse and Japanese carp swim in the sinking pond.
