McСrilis Gardens is a naturalistic garden with colorful flowers on the shady wood sidewalk, especially in spring. The 5 acres of land in the Bethesda residential area was donated by owners William and Virginia McCrillis to the Maryland National Capital Park and Planning Commission in 1978 and managed by Brookside Gardens.
Garden is planted with ornamental trees and shrubs, bulbs, ground cover and perennials that like to shade, and there are paths between them. There are also pavilions and benches to relax in. McСrilis Garden is reminiscent of a secret garden hidden in the heart of Bethesda.
McClillis House & Gardens is a good place for small events with less than 20 people. Let McGillis set the stage for large-scale events, such as weddings under a tree, cocktail party in the garden and tea party in a large hall.
There is no on-site parking at McCrillis House and Gardens.
