Historic London Town and Gardens, a 23-acre park with historical, archaeological and horticultural themes, approximately eight miles across the South River in Annapolis, along the South River in Edgewater, Maryland.
The park is part of the Four Rivers Heritage area and is a fascinating fusion of history, archeology and horticulture. You can stroll among the historic houses built in 1760. You can see that archaeological research has been conducted to find the “Lost City” of London. In the 8-acre Woodland Garden, you can walk a mile of trails and admire native and exotic plants.
