The Sandwich Heritage Museums & Gardens are places of interest for visitors of all ages. For car enthusiasts, we recommend visiting the Josiah K. Lilly III Antique Automobile Collection, which tells the story of the car’s development. Art lovers can also visit the vast collection of American folk art and children can enjoy the hand-carved vintage carousel. In addition, the 100-acre garden with lilacs, daisies, magnolias, hydrangeas and famous rhododendrons attracts nature lovers. This two-acre children’s area is called “Hidden Valley” and offers various activities such as balance beams, water experiments and sensory gardens, allowing them to have a pleasant time.
Recent visitors appreciate the various exhibits and tranquility of the Heritage Museum and Gardens and say it is a peaceful retreat for visitors of all ages.
