While other places are closed closed during the coronavirus outbreak, the Dothana Botanical Garden remains open to the public.
The 46 acres of gardens offer plenty of space for the people to visit while also practicing social distance.
It’s a place to spread out and get some fresh air and sun. It’s a great place to come and still enjoy nature.
The selling of plants in the Garden has also been closed. Most plants that were booked for the community have been closed, but certain crops are available. Anyone who would like to purchase a plant in the Garden can be present at any time with free entrance.
The gardens are available every single day from 9 am to 6 pm. The admission is $5 for all non-members who are 16 years or older. If you would like to be part of the membership, you can sign up and check the fees on the Dothan Botanical Garden website. Your membership consists of free entrance to the Gardens.
