Dixon Gallery & Gardens was founded in 1976 by Hugo and Margaret Dixon, it is an art museum and public garden that brings together a variety of innovative art and gardening programs. Dixon has more than 2,000 permanent exhibits, including French and American Impressionist paintings and German and British porcelain. We also organize 8 to 10 exhibitions every year and its diversity attracts customers of all ages. Dixon’s 17-acre campus is a highly regarded public garden that includes formal spaces, woodlands, and logging gardens.
Dixon is recognized by the American Museum Association and is a member of the American Public Garden Association and the International Botanical Garden Conservation Association.
