Desert Botanical Garden

Average Reviews

The desert may be thought of as the last location where you would like to discover the flora. However, Desert Botanical Garden represents home to many kinds of cactuses, plants and flowers throughout the world. The brightly painted plants of the garden are in sharp contrast to the brownish red plants of the Sonoran Desert.

The Desert Botanical Garden also features many events, including cooking shows and a series of concerts in the open air.

New visitors have said the garden is exciting and highly recommended to search for specific exhibits when they are open. Several critics proposed to go to the garden after sunset to see it lighted up, whereas others praised the groomed pathways and well designed symbols. Nevertheless, some of the travelers mourned the tickets and were frustrated that the zoo and garden presented no combination of entrance since they are located less than 2 miles from each other.

The garden, which is located about 4 miles south of downtown Scottsdale, hosts visitors every day from 8am to 8pm from October to April and 7am to 8pm from May to September. The entrance ticket charges $24.95 for adults and $12.95 for children from 3 to 17 years. Children under 3 years of age enjoy free entrance. The complex has a garden store and a restaurant.
