Deering Estate is a property of  Chicago businessman Charles Deering, early preservationist, conservationist, ecologist, artwork collector, philanthropist. Deering House is a heritage estate  registered in the National Register of Historic Buildings. As a 21st century museum for visitors and residents, it offers a range of unique activities, programs, excursions and courses throughout the year.

Deering Estate is committed to preserving and safeguarding natural eco-systems, indigenous flora and fauna, and wildlife through enlightened stewardship and the implementation of best preservation care management practice. We collaborate with many institutions and partners to achieve this aim.

Rare and local plants such as orchids, bromeliads, ferns and more than 40 species of trees thrive here. It is home to various wild animals, including grey foxes, squirrels, snakes, butterflies and birds. According to data from the Regional Conservation Institute, Deering Estate has 89 endangered, endangered and commercial factories, which are provided by state and federal agencies.

The ongoing bird viewing activities at Dearing Estate recorded more than 170 kinds of birds, including rare types like as mangrove rhododendrons, white rhododendrons, black-spotted pigeons and long tails, and even the most experienced birdwatchers. I.
