The garden is located in Cross Estate, New Jersey Brigade in Morristown National Historical Park, on Old Racehorse Hollow Road in Bernardsville, New Jersey. The garden is open from sunrise to sunset. Parking is free and admission is free.
Cross Manor’s early 20th-century landscaping is characteristic of the handicraft era, including a formal laurel garden, a wisteria-covered pergola, a bay lined driveway, and its own garden.
On the grounds of Cross Estate, there are also large specimen trees, such as the silver maple and the Chinese redwood. There is a self-service walking trail where you can see historic trees and learn about their importance to Native Americans and settlers.
Thanks to the faithful volunteers, every Wednesday morning from March to December, Cross Estate Garden can enjoy spectacular scenery all year round. Also, since 1995, the foundation has hired student interns to work in the garden.
