As one of the last free zoos in the United States, Como is home to a variety of animals and plants and welcomes visitors 365 days a year. Adjacent to the amusement park of the city of Como, the historic carousel of Cafe Jean and the Como park, zoo and greenhouse are open to guests of all ages.

Como Park Zoo and Greenhouse will drown your senses with a unique experience. The zoo exhibited exotic animals such as gorillas, giraffes, polar bears, sea lions, tigers and orangutans. In Tropical En, you can experience the scenery, sounds and smells of the South American rainforest. The charming greenhouse garden offers displays of seasonal flowers, tropical gardens, orchids, ferns, bonsai and the famous Japanese garden. Como offers unique courses suitable for all ages and is an award winning wedding venue. The Parco Zoo and the Serra di Como are open 365 days a year, from 1 April to 30 September from 10:00 to 18:00 and from 1 October to 31 March from 10:00 to 16:00. Admission to the Como Park Zoo and the Marjorie McNilli Conservatory is always free, but voluntary donations are required.
