Cheekwood is considered one of the best buildings of the American rural era. Owned by the Mabel Cheek and Leslie Cheek families in the 1930s, it has a Georgian mansion, 55 acres of expansive gardens and sweeping views. Today it is open to the public as a museum with botanical gardens, botanical gardens, historical halls and art galleries.The museum houses 7,000 permanent collections and travel exhibits. There are 12 different gardens in the house, and a 1.5-mile forest trail displays modern and contemporary outdoor sculptures. Cheekwood Garden is a National Historic Site in the United States and has been recognized as one of the “Top Ten Botanical Gardens in USA Today”. Teak is located on 1200 Forrest Park Drive, eight miles southwest of downtown Nashville.
